How to store your sails

Race sails should be rolled and not folded, so that no bands will damage them. Laminates sails (Kevlar and Mylar) can stand on the boom for short periods, but well coverd by mainsail-covers that will protect them from UV rays. Is a good habit dry your sails whenever is possible.

Sail clohts tend to produce mold when left wet inside the boat for long times.
